About the house: Blockhouse Bay house is a 3.5 bedroom house with a modern kitchen, 2 toilets, 2 showers and a big back yard. Our vege garden and compost bin is a work in progress :) Situated in a great location close to all amenities, handy to motorway on ramp, 1 min walk to the bus stop, 10 minutes walk to LynnMall. Closest beaches are just stone’s throw away.

Your bedroom has been recently carpeted and is unfurnished. The room is bright, warm and gets lots of sun, it easily fits a queen bed and has space for a wardrobe/drawers. You will have your own shower and toilet for your exclusive use. You will also have a respectable share of an additional room for storage.

The living room has 2 large and comfortable bean bags, we don’t use the living room much and you are welcome to bring any additional furnishings if you wish.

Price includes unlimited fibre internet, perfect for those who work from home.

High quality chilled and filtered water on tap.

There is room for an additional fridge and washing machine so we don’t have to share appliances.

Off-street parking available, we could potentially make an arrangement in the driveway if you don’t use it too much or leave and come back before 1 member of the house.

Bills will be divided equally, they include water, gas (hot water) and power. Typically this is about about $30 per week.

About us: We are two working professionals (male and female) in our late 20s to early-30s.

We mainly work from home but occasionally go into the office for client meetings.

Due to our work and private lifestyle we have managed to remain covid-free (therefore quite careful) and would like to keep it this way. Hygiene is also very important to us.

We don’t have large gatherings or parties and are pretty independent.

We enjoy running, gardening, movies, baking and cooking.

About you: We are seeking a mature, tidy, and considerate person to share our home with.

Ideally you will have your own fridge (we can look into providing one for the right candidate). Even better if you have your own washing machine. Our previous flatmate preferred to go to the laundromat around the corner.
