About the house: Room has a built-in wardrobe and a north-west facing window which gets great sunlight and a wonderful view. It’s a little on the smaller side but this is reflected in the cost. The house is part of a cul-de-sac on the north-facing side of Aro Valley and gets unobstructed sun from early morning to late evening. Includes light and spacious kitchen and living area and two massive bathrooms (including an actual bath!) that you’ll only be sharing with two other flatmates. There is also a private garden and deck area, and a garage with space for a bike or scooter. In the area: The flat is just off Aro street, close to the Willis street intersection, and an easy walk from almost all of the major spots in the city (10 minutes walk to VUW Kelburn campus, 15 minutes to Cuba Street and 30 minutes to Lambton Quay/Parliament/VUW Pipitea campus). Right around the corner from the Aro Valley shops and an easy walk to the Botanical Gardens.

You’ll be living with three girls in their early-mid 20’s who are all working or studying full time and are all tidy, considerate and sociable. Our ideal flatmate would be someone similar to us who is friendly, considerate and enjoys a chat at the end of a long day, but would also be happy to do their own thing now and then.
