Katie's room

This is a fully furnished room with double bed (nearly-new with always-covered mattress ), bedside drawers/lights, small desk/desk-light & chair, drawers & inbuilt cupboard space - including quality upright piano, but that can be moved. Shared bathroom - shower & bath. Shared large open-plan kitchen (including dishwasher and good espresso machine), dining and living space. Unlimited broadband and welcome to use of our Spotify, Netflix & Neon. Big private deck with bush outlook. Separate washing machine. The house is down a long driveway so quiet in terms of traffic. Safe parking on the street. The main road at the top of our driveway has buses to everywhere: AUT, North Shore hospital, the city, shops either Highbury or Glenfield.

Two others living in this main area of the house: friendly, easy-going house-owner Katie (full-time teacher & PhD student - I’m up early and to bed early) and daughter (uni student). We also have 3 dogs who very much live inside, so please do not reply unless you are a genuine dog-lover thanks: they are lovely friendly whippets, one is elderly (13.5y) the other two young (1.5y + 9months) - like typical whippets, they sleep most of the day. I’ve put photos of them here including the one of the youngsters on the sofa, because you’d have to put up with that! We also have 2 cats - but we don’t see them very often: one lives outside and the other with our neighbours!
