Hillcrest Road

Hi! I’m moving to Tauranga to start a PhD so my room will be free for another easy going young professional! The house is located at the end of a driveway and is therefore very quiet. We have a big garden surrounding the house and my room has direct access to the porch in the backyard. There are veggie patches and fruit trees and in summer there is a little pool to cool you down. The house itself is not the newest but everything is clean and looked after.

I personally love the big open kitchen with lots of light coming in and the access to the front porch. There are two bathrooms in the house and you would share yours with one of the girls.

Power bill is around 30$ per month. If wanted, the room can be hand over furnished as seen in the pictures for 250$ (includes the bed frame, mattress and two wooden stools). The desk + chair belong to the house and can be used for free if wanted.

There are four existing roomies in the house, one couple (sharing one room) and two girls. They are the sweetest people and are great roomies. I moved here from overseas and they gave me the warmest welcome!

Everyone is working, some partly in home office, so the general vibe in the house is very respectful and considerate. On weekends there is lots of laughter, some drinks and video/board games (there has been an obsession with the games overcooked and articulate lately).

As this is a mature household where everyone is working, party people better look for something else. Everyone else incl. mature students are very welcome :)
