Double room for rent in a light and airy renovated Seatoun villa.

Seatoun is home to several beaches, and has a good bus service, small supermarket, a fish & chip shop, a deli and a pub.

The room itself is a good size and comes with a desk and chair, a great bed, a built-in wardrobe and extra storage. A large window frames a partial sea view and lets in plenty of natural light.

The lounge is now a (landlord-approved) bedroom, but we often stop to talk to one another in the kitchen-dining area.

We try to keep the cost of living down by doing power-hungry activities like drying and baking in the evenings, when we’re not charged for them. There’s also a good washing line out the back, space to set up pot plants, and a steady stream of Bokashi compost/fertiliser.

We all work days, so would prefer a working person on a similar timetable. Ideally you would stick around for the long-term too, but our contract with you will specify a notice period should your situation change.

The room is available immediately, and we can arrange to meet you one evening after 6pm, or during the weekend. We’ll need a bit of information about you, such as where you lived before, and a reference from someone who can vouch for you. The successful applicant will also need to sign a standard Flat-share Agreement from Tenancy Services.

No pets or smokers.

We all have our own lives and are self-sufficient, including buying our own food and bathroom supplies. Everyone chips in to keep common areas clean and tidy. Home is where we relax and recharge, so this isn’t a party flat.
