Kia ora, We have a warm, large, private couples room going in Khandallah! Perfect for commuters with a double garage and across the road from the train station! Move in date is negotiable - but around mid-May is ideal.

Comes with a double garage which would be yours to use however you wish and a small office that can be used for extra storage or as a small wfh space, also access to ample underfloor storage. The bedroom is warm, and the whole house is double glazed with an HRV system installed so no condensation!

Bedroom comfortably fits a queen bed, drawers, desk, has a double wardrobe and a sliding door out to the deck which is great for morning coffees. The bathroom comes with shower, bath and separate toilet (private from shared living area) - all just for the couple to use as there’s another bathroom downstairs.

Kitchen and shared space is open plan and high quality, gas hob and double oven. Whiteware is included with the property. Gardens are maintained by a gardener, all the tenants have to do is mow the lawns with the provided lawnmower. Place is furnished, photos of furnishings will be uploaded shortly.

$445 per week for a couple, so $222.50 each, might be negotiable if you don’t need the garage and would like to offer it to the current flatmates. Expenses are paid monthly and tend to come out to around $70 per person (electricity, gas, internet and rubbish). Property manager is lovely and good at communicating and quick to fix any problems - will need to complete an application with her in order to move in.

Some room furniture like the desk and drawers would be negotiable to stay if you would like - otherwise, clean slate.

Minimum stay is until the end of July, with open ability to renew and stay for as long as you like beyond that.

Current flatmates are two people in their early 20s, one a postgrad student and one yo-pro. Both quiet, respectful people who keep the place tidy and are happy to have a chat but largely keep to themselves.
