Room available in cosy converted office apartment for six months through November.

Our long term flatmate is spending some time overseas, so we’re looking for someone to fill the gap. Could suit someone on a working holiday or semester abroad, or maybe you’ve recently returned to Wellington and need a base to find your feet.

The room is fully internal with just a skylight. Please excuse the potato quality photos of the room that make the occupant look like a serial killer. High ceilings though and fully insulted through Wellington’s infamous winter months. Nice and quiet from any street noise coming from left bank and there’s some furniture courtesy of the landlords, but you will need your own bed.

$30 bills per week for unlimited fibre internet, power, gas and some household supplies.

Flat has dryer, two bathrooms, dishwasher, heat pump, air purifier. We have a tiny tv because only Amy watches it. Brand new fridge. Great relationship with the owners (no annoying property managers), who care about the building. It’s not a flash apartment but it’s got soul.

Viewings easiest in the evenings, although Sunday and Thursday probably anytime.

No bond, but we will ask for your final two weeks rent upfront. Just to ensure a proper notice period. We can be very flexible around any move out date once Hemi returns to NZ. Which will give you lots of time to find a new place or plan your next step.

We are three deeply boring metal loving ‘nerds’ with established routines who have all been living together for well over a decade. All good friends but do keep to ourselves a bit as not to crowd each other in a fairly compact space.

Mid to late thirties, hospitality, public service and tourism workers. Often up late, but generally quiet, Paul has a D&D game in the lounge on Monday nights. I’ll play guitar (badly) on occasion but not at volume.
