Kōtuitui Street

The house is a new build, less than 3 years old, in a quiet neighbourhood close to Manukau City Centre. It is a 3 bedroom/1 bathroom townhouse. The house is fully furnished and has all the needed appliances, chattels and amenities. All of the rooms are fairly spacious and have ample storage.

There is no smoking allowed inside, but we are happy for a flatmate to smoke outside. We do not have any pets, but someone with a small animal would be considered. An allocated off street car park space can also be provided.

The ground floor is open plan with the kitchen, dining, and lounge space. Large sliding doors open to connect the house with the small backyard space.

The backyard is a comfortable size, but need some landscaping since we were unable to do any last summer with all the rain. Still, it is a perfect place to sit and relax, read a book, or socialise.

The second floor consists of the bedroom for rent, the bathroom/laundry, and a small bedroom we use as a home office. The third floor is the master bedroom where my partner and I sleep.

About the room It is a large room with high ceilings and comes fully furnished. The room comes with a queen bed and mattress, 2 side tables with drawers, and 2 bedside lamps. The wall mounted heating panel and double glazed windows mean this room will be warm all winter. There are 2 windows that open and a pedestal fan is provided for the hotter months.

The build-in wardrobe wardrobe runs the entire width of the room and provided ample storage. It has a few shelves and drawers and lots of room to hang clothes. Wardrobe is already furnished with built-in drawers and shelves and clothes hangers, laundry hamper, shoe rack, and pedestal fan are provided.

The room looks onto the small backyard area and the pocket park behind the house.

Matt & Chris (gay married couple). We are in our mid and late 30’s and prefer a quiet night in over parties.

Matt enjoy the outdoors in summer and a good movie and wine in winter. Honestly I like a good wine any time. I run my own e-commerce business from home and I freelance in media so I have some odd hours. I tend to relax more when I’m at home. I consider myself social and prefer pubs over clubs and hanging out with friends.

Chris works at home in IT. When he is not working from home in the office/3rd bedroom he enjoys relaxing, a few drinks, good company, and a good movie or streaming tv.
