This is part of the upstairs living area in a large five bedroom property. (The two bedroom unit downstairs is separately rented). The house has been extensively modernised has double glazing, ventilation and insulation throughout ensuring proper 21st century living standards.

Upstairs in the main part of the house – a large ensuite master bedroom. Share the main living areas and kitchen with friendly owner who uses one of the other bedrooms and the other bathroom.

What I’m looking for in a flattie Drug free, Non smoker and non vaper. This is a totally smoke and vape free property at all times. Someone who will respect our lovely neighbours, the other folks living here, themselves and the property. An ability to ‘walk quietly’ in the mornings and evenings is always appreciated by our downstairs residents. I’m after a single but will consider a couple. In addition to the weekly rent the flattie is responsible for 15% of the power bill (25% for a couple) which usually works out at $75 to $100 dollars a month in summer and $80 to $120 in winter. The room is fully furnished with queen beds. All linen is provided. The rooms ideally suit folks who don’t have loads of personal stuff. The property is just a few hundred metres from the Park Island Sports Ground, the supermarket and easy access to the town centre.

I’m a laid back bloke in my sixties. Occasionally there is another person in the house of similar age. I bought this house shortly before my daughter was born. She’s now in her 20’s and on her OE. In the intervening years, I’ve had flatties of all walks of life from all around the world and bit by bit have been modernising the property.
