Kia ora, We are looking for a short-term lodger. We have a furnished private room and large bathroom on the ground floor of our newbuild townhouse available :)

We don’t have a very large kitchen space so would be well suited to someone who doesn’t need too much food storage!

We have two little kittens Miso and Monty who won’t be allowed in your room but will want a cat-friendly flatmate to share the rest of the space with.

The living area is up some stairs but we can accommodate a range of other accessibility needs

We are rainbow-friendly and vaccinated :)

Luke hails from Taranaki and Lauren from Scotland (via a few other countries) but has been living in Te Whanganui-a-tara (Wellington) for a few years now. We both work full-time Luke as a scientist and Lauren in social development.

We enjoy hiking, cooking, and going to various gigs, coffee spots and potluck dinners with friends. Lauren loves to half-finish books and burn through a roll of 35mm film and Luke likes baking sourdough and running the local trails.

Our ideal flatmate is looking for a short-term stay (maybe 1-4 months) in a pretty chill/quiet home. Cat-friendly is preferable (we have two kittens) and we also prefer someone veggie/plant based when it comes to sharing a kitchen. Friendly but independent is the vibe :)
