About the room
Want to live just ten minutes from the beach in a sunny, ridiculously spacious classic Kiwi villa? Look no further! We are three female flatmates. (The head tenant lives here with her son), seeking a considerate, house-trained individual.
We prefer someone aged in their early thirties and upwards. The available bedroom is suitable for a single person and has it’s own built in wardrobe. We enjoy casual chats in the lounge room but are also fairly independent, leading busy lives. We’re looking for someone with a similar vibe. We have a range of interests in art, illustration, films, and classic long walks on the beach.
The location is fantastic! The house sits on a flat private section near the main drag and Island Bay village. The supermarket and buses are conveniently across the street, and charming cafes, takeaways, and the library are just a stone’s throw away. The Empire Cinema is a mere 5-minute walk.
The house is super cosy, with central heating throughout and a heat pump. There’s also a massive garden for those with green thumbs who enjoy growing things. If that’s your cup of tea.
The head tenant, a very cool individual, lives on one side of the house with her teenage son, both delightful. We are LGBTQ/Rainbow-friendly! Both long-term and temporary stays are welcome. The property is smoke and vape-free.
