We are looking to fill a room in our home in Paraparaumu. The house is double-glazed and therefore super warm. We have 2 lounges, a large kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with shower and toilet, one with bath, shower and toilet). There are sunny 2 patios, perfect for some summer BBQ and the warm sunny winter days in Kapiti! We have another spare guest room and office space. So space enough to enjoy each others company or just take some time for yourself.
There is also a large backyard that we will share with the downstairs flat. Which has space enough to plant your own veggies if you’re keen :)
The house is located on a side street of Kapiti Road, and you are on the highway within minutes. The Paraparaumu train station is a few minutes walking and the beach is about 3km away. Kapiti Health centre is at the end of the street, the coastline shopping centre with supermarkets at walking distance.
Russell and I are the main tenants and we already live with Nikki and Deborah. The guardian of the house is Brugge the Great Dane. Russell works as a chef, Nikki works in elderly care, Deborah at the coastlands shopping centre and I am a PhD student in oceanography. We have a big collection of boardgames, love an occasional BBQ and a drink. Beside that we are a professional, quite house. (just nice, cosy and a bit social but no parties)
The room in on the smaller side, couples are welcome for a viewing ($300/week) and decide for themselves.
Short term accomodation also an option.
