Short-term accommodation opportunity from the 11th of December to the 14th of February! Are you after a sunny double bedroom furnished with a double bed, your own ensuite and a patio located in a gated community only a short bus ride from the city? Well, our place is perfect for you!

Hey future flattie! Our flatmate is lucky enough to be off on a Europe trip, so we have a room available for you to rent for two months over Summer! We are open to couples or singles.

The Flat: Our place is located in Mt Eden/Newton, close to the top of Mt Eden road so is the PERFECT location. It is 15 min bus to Britomart, 10 min bus to UOA/AUT city campus, 10 min bus to Newmarket and a 20 min walk to UOA Grafton Campus/Auckland Hospital. It is in a gated community so it is safe and secure. Unfortunately, there is no off-street parking available with this room and there is only paid on-street parking or monthly carpark rentals nearby. Our flat is fully furnished so you will only need to worry about bringing yourself and some bits and pieces for your room!

Your room: Your room is a double bedroom that gets heaps of natural light on a good day located on the ground floor of the three-story town house. The room comes furnished with a queen bed. You have your own back entrance into your room, which exits onto your own patio as well as the front entrance. Your patio extends onto a beautiful communal garden shared with the houses around us. Your bedroom also has an ensuite however, there is no wardrobe.

Rent:

Single: $240 per week + utilities

Couple: $300 per week + utilities

There is also a bond of 2 weeks of rent which will be paid back to you on your departure from our flat.

I do have a rough sketch of the floor plan of room with measurements that I can provide before you move in so you can plan out your room. I am also happy to take some more photos of anything you need. We are happy to organise in-person or zoom viewings if we feel you might be a good fit for our flat!

About us: We are two 20-year-old students studying at UOA studying Commerce and Nursing. One of us has an internship over the Summer, and the other will be working in healthcare. We like having a couple drinks, flat dinners and going out on the weekend, but we aren’t a party flat. We love road trips and beach days, so will be trying to fill up our days off work to enjoy the uni break. We are looking for another like-minded, 18-24 year-old working professional or student individual/couple who is respectful and someone that we can get along with.
