Queens Drive

We have a room going for rent available at our lovely and charming flat in sunny Lyall Bay! The room coasts only $160 pw + expenses ($50-60 power and $12-13 internet monthly). The room is partly furnished with a bed and matress and also a chest of drawers. We can throw a spare tv we have around as well. This is ideal for one person. We rather find someone to stay long term, but happy to take work holiday visa holders if you work on finding a replacement for the room before you leave. Two bathrooms/toilets and a recently renovated shower room with tub. The house itself is right across the beach and next to a bus stop, with plenty of free parking on the street. You’d be living with 4 others, a couple and two singles, mostly international (spanish, chilean, brazilian and a kiwi), social, tidy, and responsible, but also enjoy their privacy and independency. Paola (from Chile) and Diego (from Spain) are the couple. They are in their early 40s, well travelled, love meeting new people and nice vibes in the house, sharing the occasional meal and/or drinks but quite independent as well. Diego is a school teacher and Paola studies Computer Science at Victoria University. Earnau, 38, is brazilian and works as a Project Coordinator for a demolition company. Loves surf, kite surf, and good chats. James, 36, works in town as a baker. We are all fun, friendly, and love the place we live in, right in front of the beach and with really cool vibes!
