Seeking a couple for a medium-sized room. The house is a 50’s property with a Narnia-esque (so they tell me) garden, goldfish pond (with bridge), a shower with good water pressure, and a fully equipped kitchen for the enthusiastic chef or baker.

An additional space is available in the guest room for an office setup (extra $25.00 p/w). This room contains one pull-out sofa bed. (Disclaimer: the space may be needed for guests on a very occasional basis, but probably only a few nights a year, if ever).

Within walking distance of a small complex of shops and restaurants as well as the local New World. The main bus route through Lincoln Road is also close by.

Currently the flat is only occupied by myself and my senior cat.

Preferred candidates

Looking for someone similarly aged who doesn’t mind a reasonable amount of banter and ideally has an artsy hobby or two, like myself. No gender preference.

About the room

The room contains an internal wardrobe and a lot of extra storage space up above. Sized for a double bed and a desk. The extra room (if desired) has a small sofa bed and some shelving, with enough space for a home office.

I’m a 33-year-old creative (he/him) and owner of the house, currently also occupied by one very cuddly cat (once he’s used to you but he’s easily won over). I work both in the city and from home. Otherwise tend to split my free time evenly between baking, drawing and spending time with friends. No more or less sociable than the next person and value equal parts quiet time and chit-chat time.
