Rory's room

Seeking one flatmate for a medium-sized room or two flatmates for a medium and small respectively. The house is a lovely 50’s property with a lush boardwalk garden, goldfish pond (with bridge), greenhouse and a fully equipped kitchen for the enthusiastic chef or baker.

Within walking distance is a small complex of shops and restaurants as well as the local New World. The main bus route through Lincoln Road is also close.

Currently the flat is only occupied by myself and my senior cat but hoping to get two new people in to fill the remaining rooms.

Preferred candidates

Looking for someone similarly aged who doesn’t mind a reasonable amount of banter and maybe has an interesting or creative hobby. No preference for gender for either room, though would prefer not to be an all-male flat when both rooms are occupied.

About the rooms

The medium room (175p/w) contains an internal wardrobe and a lot of extra storage space up above. Sized for a double bed and a desk.

The small room (125p/w) gets the morning sun and has the best internet connection. There’s an external wardrobe which can be removed if requested. Sized for a single bed and one or two small items of furniture.

I’m a 31-year-old creative and recent owner of the house, currently also occupied by one very cuddly cat (once he’s used to you). I work in the city but otherwise tend to split my free time evenly between baking, drawing and spending time with friends. No more or less sociable than the next person and value equal parts quiet time and chit-chat time.
