This studio is perfect for anyone who loves water sports, is an artist, fisher, diver, nature lover or just wants to come home after work, walk to the end of the property and relax on the beach. Located within a Kiwi Zone and on the edge of Tauwhara Bay you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of waves and hear the calls of our local Kiwi’s at night.

The studio includes new curtains, carpet, and flooring, as well as a separate shower, seperate toilet, and seperate washroom/laundry which runs off a hallway off the back of the bedroom (We can remove the bars on the windows if it’s not your vibe). The kitchen has running water and comes equipped with a convection oven and hot plate for cooking. There’s also a small outdoor seating area, outdoor shower, washing line, and elevated garden bed. This includes your own garage (Lockable) is large enough to fit a truck/car, with extra to spare which could be used as a workbench or art studio space. If you don’t need the garage, the rent can be lowered to $285.00 per week and there is room for lawn parking.

There’s a surf beach just one bay over (Moureeses), and a local store that sells fish and chips and burgers. You can also visit the community library or the town hall to join groups or classes. It’s a great place to live!

We are a couple in our 30’s that are employed, enjoy coming home to a beautiful setting, friendly and respectful. We’re the ones who live upstairs. We work during the week in Whangarei and across the Northland Region. In the weekends we get out and about, chill at home or chill in the backyard - on the beach! We have extra space here (downstairs), that is self-contained and are seeking an added person to enjoy the property with us. Your space is completely private to you with keys etc…

This isn’t a party house and because it’s a kiwi zone, we can’t allow pets. We are happy for anyone from any age group to join us.

You’ll have your own washing machine and there’s additional storage space under the stairs which can only be accessed by you.
