Internal room available from 17 March for $675/fortnight (basic internet included) plus power in a two bedroom apartment at the top of Cuba Street in central Wellington. The room is unfurnished, but if you get in quick there is a queen bed available to buy! Apartment is furnished differently to the photos, but has a large couch, TV, washer/dryer combo, heater, fridge, and dishwasher. The room is internal, with ¾ wall length windows leading to the kitchen/lounge for natural light (and blinds for privacy). Being internal means the room is warm and quiet all year round and it is large enough for a queen bed, small desk and other furniture. There is a small built-in wardrobe with some internal shelving and a small extractor fan to keep the air circulating. The living area is spacious, with a large balcony facing the street accessible from sliding doors in the lounge and the other bedroom. Kitchen has plenty of storage (and some cute smiley faces carved into the floor from a previous child occupier). The bathroom has some shelving, a washer/dryer, large sink with storage above and below, toilet, and a decent sized bath/shower (there is truly nothing like a nice bath after a long, hard week at work!). The apartment building has a secure car park with free bike parking and limited car parks available by arrangement with the property managers. The property managers themselves are responsive and friendly, and I’ve always found flat inspections to be very relaxed. I am moving overseas, otherwise I would not be letting this place go! It is a great location for walking into the city for work or play, has takeaways, shops, and public transport within 5-10 minutes’ walk, and most importantly is safe, warm and dry.

Your flatmate will be a retail professional in her early 30s, very friendly and tidy (and might be able to get you some deals on skincare!)
