One fully furnished bedroom available. The cost is $250 per week for a single person. Power and unlimited fibre internet included. To move in I require 2 weeks advance rent ($500) and $500 bond. This beautiful country house is located just 2 minutes from Clyde. Its a 20 minute drive to Cromwell and 10 minutes to Alexandra. It rural living with an acre of landscaped gardens in a peaceful and private setting. Lots of grass and big trees. Winter heating is from nice new wood burner, firewood is provided. There is also a heatpump if the the fire is not going so pretty cosy. The available room features a comfortable double bed with cotton sheets, an electric blanket, pillows, and lovely bedding. It includes a chest of drawers, a long mirror, wardrobe, bedside table with lamp, and a small office desk with a chair. Common areas of the house include a shared kitchen, an open-plan dining and living area, a shared bathroom, a separate second toilet and handbasin. There is a separate laundry with extra large washing machine and a clothes dryer. We hang washing outside on the clothesline but the dryer is available to use on the weekends. There is a huge front verandah, a side deck and backdoor area so plenty of outdoor sitting areas. There is gym equipment here to use too as well as bikes you are welcome to use. Flatmates must be tidy, respectful, employed, and have their own transport. The rent includes all linen, power, unlimited fibre broadband and plenty of parking. Flatmates are responsible for their own cooking and room cleaning, the rest of the house is cleaned regularly so no chores to worry about. We strive to recycle our rubbish effectively and household rubbish is disposed of at the tip. There is large grassed areas with big shady trees all around the house to enjoy and lovely walking/biking tracks at your fingertips. The lake is very close if you want to cool off with a swim after work. We do not drink much and its definitely not a party house. Absolutely no drugs are allowed. It’s a healthy living environment where everyone has their own space to thrive. Smoking and vaping are permitted outside only. Minimum stay is 4 weeks.

I’m the owner and an artist. I work as gardener plus I’m a graphic designer. Cooking is also a passion as well as house plants. I’m a coffee lover so there is a good espresso machine to use. There are two flatmates here atm, myself and a 35 year old guy who is a builder. We’re both easy going and tidy.
