About the room

Hey! I’m looking for one awesome new flatmate to join my lovely townhouse in Newlands.

Looking for someone who is easygoing, friendly, considerate and house proud. Keen for the occasional games night or flat dinner, but also respect each other’s space and independence. Bonus is you love a game of Pictionary or Articulate!

You’ll be sharing with me (Amber, 35, design consultant), my wee tabby cat Honey and my kitten Willow + Olivia who is early 20’s and a first aid instructor.

The Room:

Rent $210pw + $20pw for expenses which covers internet, cleaning products, laundry products, council bags, toilet paper + some other kitchen staples. Power is additional and split between everyone.
Fits a queen + a chest of drawers or desk
Built-in double-door wardrobe
Note the room is on the shady side of the house, so price reflects this

Double glazed and warm
All day sun in the living, dining, and courtyard areas – great for a morning coffee
On a quiet no-exit street
3 min drive to motorway
15 min walk to Johnsonville train station
3 min walk to the #1 bus stop (quick ride into the city)
Veggie garden available if you want to grow your own greens!

Mt Kaukau is a 5 min drive away for some fresh air and great views – ideal for a quick sunset mission.

About the roomies

I love the outdoors, walking, camping, board game nights (love a game of articulate) or cards, music and an espresso martini always goes down a treat.

Honey loves neck scratches, chasing her toys and her food. Willow is in her zoomie stage so she is a great entertainer.
