A Warm, fully furnished room available from 15 August in a quiet, friendly home just a 15-minute walk to the CBD. Ideal for a mature student or working professional looking for a relaxed, respectful place to call home. One of the room’s standout features is its own remote-controlled heat pump, so you’re in control of your own heating during Dunedin’s colder months.

The room is fully insulated and double glazed, and comes furnished with a king single bed, sofa, 40-inch OLED smart TV, computer desk and chair, drawers, and a double wardrobe.

The house is full of character, with plenty of natural light, open sunny living spaces, and decking that looks out over the harbour and ocean. The university, supermarkets, and a scenic 20-minute nature walk are all within easy walking distance.

The kitchen is spacious and practical, giving everyone plenty of room to cook comfortably. We occasionally share a meal, but everyone is equally happy doing their own thing. The bathroom is modern, well maintained, and spacious, making it comfortable and easy to use.

Rent includes power, internet, and shared household essentials (toilet paper, laundry powder, dish soap, etc.), which keeps things simple.

You’ll be living with four friendly, respectful adults from healthcare, construction, psychology, and community support backgrounds. We’re tidy, considerate, and fairly independent, but always happy to stop for a chat when we cross paths.

Every now and then we’ll share a meal, do a bit of baking, or head out for a casual outing, but there’s no expectation to join in. Everyone values each other’s space and routines.

Overall, it’s a relaxed, quiet home with a mature, easygoing feel—the sort of place where everyone says hello, respects each other’s privacy, and you can come home after work or study and simply relax.
