Oriental Parade

Location: 10/10. On Oriental Parade. We are super close to the beach, Waitangi Park, New World, Courtenay Place, Mount Vic, etc. Our flat is on the ground floor, with two flats in the storey above us - the whole building is owned by the same landlord. All the other flats are respectful, haven’t had any problems.

The landlord: Very reasonable, responsive, friendly. Manages the property directly, i.e. not managed via a rental agency.

The flat: The flat is sunny, warm, dry, insulated, no mold problems, has a heatpump. Decent dishwasher. Good internet. Washing machine. Dryer. Small garage which is used as communal storage space. The lounge is in the mezzanine above the garage.

The bathrooms: 2 bathrooms, both with good ventilation via extractor fans. The first one has both a toilet and shower (with shower dome), and a heated towel rail. The second bathroom is split, i.e. separate toilet and shower.

The kitchen: Electric cooktop and oven. Microwave. Dishwasher.

Your room: One of the 2 big rooms in the flat. All day sun. Approx. 3.5 meters by 4 meters. Easily fits a queen bed, sofa, small desk, chest of drawers and a shelving unit.

3 yo-pros in our mid-20s to mid-30s. 1 girl, 2 guys. We’re looking for another girl to keep it balanced. Mix of introverts and extroverts, we all have good emotional intelligence. We are friendly, responsible, respectful, tidy, clean, and considerate. Between us, we do a range of activities (gym, running, climbing, swimming, tramping). We all get along well, have excellent yarns around the kitchen, and do the occasional activity together. Also happy to do our own thing.
