Huge Flexible Room with Curtain Divider – Separate Bedroom & Lounge | Titirangi / Green Bay

A large, private and quiet three-level home on the Titirangi / Green Bay border, set well back from the street and surrounded by native forest. Location: close to New Lynn, with easy access to Central and West Auckland, South Auckland via SH20, and bus routes a short walk away. The house: a ’90s build, moisture-tested before purchase, dry and comfortable. North-facing with sun all day, plus a full external security system.

The room: an extra-large space with room for a bedroom, private lounge and work/desk area. Two rooms when you want them, one big room when you don’t. A full-height sliding curtain divider splits the space into a separate bedroom and lounge. Close it for privacy and a proper wind-down zone, or pull it back for one big open, sunny room. Great for a single person who wants space, or a couple who want their own retreat. The room sits in its own private wing on the middle level, with access to 2 bathrooms (one with a bath) and French doors opening onto a balcony that looks out over native trees.

Price: $350 per week for one person, all utilities included (see below). This includes the existing furniture in the room (cabinets, shelves, buffets and chairs) and use of the shared areas of the house. Couples and an off-street carpark cost a little extra.

Application Terms and Conditions 3 weeks bond and 1 week rent in advance required. You must be okay with dogs and cats. Bringing a pet with you can be considered. If you’re invited to a viewing (after applying and an initial meeting), you’ll get a copy of the house-sharing agreement, which includes the full terms of the board.
