Looking for a friendly, tidy flatmate to share a warm and relaxed home with just one other person.

About the House

Located on the east side of Christchurch, the house is just 12 minutes from the city centre and less than 5 minutes from the beach, offering the perfect balance of convenience and a relaxed coastal lifestyle.

You can choose from one of two bedrooms:

☀️ Room 1: Slightly smaller double room that gets beautiful afternoon and evening sun.

☀️ Room 2: Larger double room with a window opening into the conservatory. It still gets plenty of fresh air and stays lovely and warm.

Both rooms have built-in wardrobes and two sets of power points, making them practical and easy to set up as your own space. A double bed and bedside table can be provided if wanted, or you’re welcome to bring your own furniture.

The house is fully double-glazed and heated with both a heat pump and a pellet fire, keeping it cosy throughout winter. There’s a separate bathroom and toilet, plus gorgeous views over the reserve at the back. There are usually cows out there, giving the place a peaceful country feel while still being close to everything you need.

💰 Rent is $250 per week, which includes:

This is not a party house. I’m past that stage and enjoy having a home that feels calm, comfortable, and a safe place to relax and unwind. It would suit someone who enjoys a peaceful home environment and is happy living with just one other person.
