A modest, basement studio with a small kitchenette including a small frig, microwave, toaster and kettle along with a sparkling new kitchen sink and counter space . (room mate will be able to share my full kitchen and lounge upstairs). Electric blanket and flat wall heater keeps the insulated studio warm and dry. Tiled bathroom with space heater, and endless hot water for the shower. Free and fast fiber optic wifi and tv with free to view streaming app. There are several outdoor areas for you to enjoy including a dog friendly, fenced back yard and a private, cosy, Mediterranean style garden space. Please note this is a basement apartment with low ceilings (6 feet/1.8 metres) The low ceilings may not be suitable for anyone over 5’11”. Guest access is off the carport area and through laundry (which is sometime used by me). Please be aware that there is a short ramp in the entrance to the studio (in the laundry) which may be difficult to maneuverer if you are elderly or have mobility issues (ie bad knees or assisted walking).

The door between the apartment and the laundry can be locked for privacy. There is no stove and cooking is limited to microwave use as the space is not ventilated for cooking.

I am an active, retired women who lives with a small friendly, cavalier king charles spaniel named Betty. I travel a lot and when gone you will have the place to yourself. Ideally I would love a roommate who loves animals and could possibly look after Betty when I go overseas.
