Room becoming available mid November in Modern Sunny New Brighton House! ☀️

As our current flatmate will be moving to Australia in November - we will be looking for another full time working, professional female between the ages of 28-36 to join us in our lovely home.

I am open to potential flatmates who will only be in the house certain days or weekends / week on week off or similar type of situations who mainly require storage of their things and a place to stay from time to time - rent can be negotiated around this ☺️

Three bedroom, two bathroom house built in 2021 down a long driveway on a safe and quiet street, five minute walk to the beach 🌊

The Room

Your room is a double bedroom with a spacious wardrobe and a wall panel heater to keep cosy in winter. Fits a queen bed.

The room is furnished with a queen bed and a bedside table - they can be removed if you have your own things.

Bathroom

The main bathroom is very spacious with lots of storage space in the vanity and on the shelves. Big free standing bath. Seperate toilet. Large heated towel rail and heater. You’ll only be sharing the bathroom with other female flatmate ☺️

The house

Built in 2021 the house is modern, double glazed and very well insulated. Spacious lounge, two couches and a TV, Netflix.

Very cosy mood in the house especially at night with lots of smart bulbs and gentle colours/leds and candles.

Kitchen has a dishwasher and plenty of pantry space for you.

Single garage with lots of storage space.

Outside we have a beautiful big deck which we love for summer entertaining or enjoying a quiet moment in the sun ☀️

Location

Central New Brighton.

Close to the beach!

Down a long driveway so extra safe but already on a very quiet and drama free road.

Only a 15min drive into the middle of the city, five minute walk to beach, 1 minute walk to Avon river pathway, plenty of walks / green space around. Bus stop just down the road.

We are very house proud and think of this house as our home rather than a ‘flat’. Being clean, tidy and respectful of the house and each other is a must.

We are looking for someone friendly, easy going and has a life outside of the house! Someone up for a chat over coffee or a wine / gin occasionally and lives an active / busy / social life.

Two full time working females aged. 29 & 27.

Flatmate 1 - homeowner, 29 years old, works full time with Air New Zealand as pilot. Quite a busy / random schedule, can be away some nights with work. When not at work will usually be surfing, hitting the gym, reading a book, travelling, going out for dinners with friends and enjoying a wine at home.

Flatmate 2 - 27 years old, here on WHV for one year from the USA, works full time in the city in the afternoons/evenings. Very social/busy and is maximising her time in New Zealand, having lots of fun.

We’re both very easy going, enjoy a chat and a laugh about whatever’s going on in our lives currently! We’d love another happy and sociable female to join us in the house, someone who we can sometimes share a coffee or drink with sometimes but also values each others space and quiet time. No awkwardness around here!
