About the room
Room available now in a quiet Bucklands Beach home.
I live here with my 13-year-old daughter. We’re upstairs and have our own bathroom, so the three downstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom and a separate half-bath between just the three of you. I’m looking for female flatmates for downstairs, which suits having a teenage girl in the house.
One room is available now, and a second becomes available in early September. If you and a friend are flatting together and want to move as a pair, get in touch — I’d happily take you both.
The room available now is a comfortable double with a built-in wardrobe and its own sliding door opening straight onto the rear courtyard, which is shared with the rest of the house. Having your own door outside is rare at this price. Unfurnished, so bring your own bed and furniture.
$260 per week including power, water and unlimited fibre broadband. No bill-splitting, no surprises. $1,040 to move in — three weeks’ bond plus one week rent in advance. The second room is slightly larger but has no exterior door; it’s $260 per week on the same all-inclusive basis.
Kitchen, laundry and living areas are shared with the whole house.
Getting around: two bus routes stop 60 seconds from the door. The 712 runs to Panmure for the train into the city, and the 733 runs to Botany via Highland Park in about 25 minutes. The Half Moon Bay ferry gets you into the CBD without touching the motorway. Two minutes to the beach, and Botany, Howick and Highland Park are all close for work and shopping.
Parking: off-street parking at the house subject to availability, plus the street is quiet and safe to park on.
Looking for a working professional or full-time student on day hours who’s comfortable in a family home. Non-smoker, no pets.
Message me with a bit about yourself and what you do, and we’ll sort out a viewing.
About the roomies
Me, a full-time professional in my late 40s, quiet and easy-going, and my 13-year-old daughter, who is considerate, tidy and no trouble. We’re both upstairs. Happy to talk through who else is here when you come and look.
