About the room
We have a guest room available in our peaceful rural home on one acre. The room can come furnished (double bed and bedside table) or non-furnished if preferred. This is the sunniest room of the house, with a nice view of the paddock outside and it also has a large wardrobe.
The home sits on one acre surrounded by farmland. The landlords are happy for garden establishment, so there’s space for veggie beds or other planting if that’s something you enjoy. There is also a large double shed available for storage or projects.
It is a shared bathroom (one adult and two children) in a family home with calm evenings (no parties) and a non-smoking household.
About the roomies
This is a family home shared with me and my two children (ages 2 and 6). I homeschool, so the house is lived-in and active part of the week though we often go out for childcare and other extracurriculur activities. It will suit someone who is genuinely child-friendly, relaxed, and comfortable sharing space.
We’re a respectful, fairly low-key family. The kids are happy and expressive (and yes, sometimes loud), so this won’t suit someone needing silence during the day! This setup might suit someone who works or studies out of the house most of the time, or who is genuinely child friendly.
