Private beach studio with own ensuite bathroom. Gorgeous valley location in the beach suburb of Sumner, Christchurch. Double glazed with sliding door to private garden area with large established trees. Nestled amongst hills with great tracks for walking/mountain biking and the beach for swimming/surfing. Wake to birdsong in the morning and go to sleep with the sound of the ocean. We’re down a back section of a cul-de-sac, so very private. Peaceful hill views.

Tons of cafes/restaurants and huge horse paddocks/park across the cul-de-sac. Room can be furnished with retro 3 seater couch, sideboard with drawers, coffee table, king single mattress (no base), see pictures. You have your own separate hot water cylinder and wall panel heater. In addition to the kitchen in the main house, there’s a 2nd large fridge/freezer in the attached garage you’re welcome to use. (Door to garage next to studio door - see photos). Our garage is at full capacity, but you also have an empty shed you can use for storage/bikes/surfboards etc.

There’s a raised vege garden next to the studio that has not been sprayed. If you’re up for weeding it, it’s all yours. Close to bus stop with buses running every 15 mins to town/Uni etc. We may also be able to accommodate your feline fur baby. Includes; power (unless you use an additional heater), wifi/internet, water. (Shared spaces in main house include kitchen/dining + washing machine). Open to long or short term. :)

Chilled mother, daughter combo (adults). Plus Simon our rescue cat. He came from a colony and seems to quite like other cats. We’re down to earth and love to laugh. Sociable but also love our own space. One works from home, the other at Uni. We’re looking for someone relaxed, reliable, respectful, housetrained with a great sense of humour. :)
