I have a spare room in my city apartment available for a short term stay until the end of October.

PLEASE NOTE photos are of an identical apartment in my complex that’s for sale, I don’t put photos of my personal belongings on here.

About the apartment:

Small but well laid out and warm. You only share with one other person and it is fully furnished.

Balcony/lounge get afternoon sun making the apartment very nice in winter.

Washer/drier.

Security gates and secure underground parking if required.

Price includes unlimited internet, power and some streaming apps.

Also included are cleaning products, washing powder, toilet paper.

Your only other costs will be your own food and personal items.

Easy walk to city centre.

The room:

Furnished with a queen bed, bedside table, large wardrobe, tallboy and mirror; bedding can be provided if you don’t have your own; this bedroom gets morning sun.

I’m a professional woman in my 50s, working full time. Non-smoker and reasonably quiet at home. Extremely clean especially with bathroom.

I’m often out. Ideal person would be friendly but independent.

I’ve previously hosted working holiday visa holders and students from ARA on block courses. It’s a very easy walk to ARA and the hospital.

Note the room is not available past October 31 so this is not suitable for someone looking for the long term. You are ideally someone on a WHV, or perhaps moving to Chch and need a short term option until securing your more permanant home.

I’m also open to a stay of just 2-4 weeks.
