Half Moon Bay, Auckland 2012

We have a lovely sun-filled room available in Half Moon Bay. The house is super clean, peaceful, and has a great vibe for anyone who values a quiet space to relax or study.

The room is $240 per week, and that covers everything: unlimited WiFi, power, and water. The room itself is fully set up with a comfy bed, a study desk for your laptop, a wardrobe, and plenty of storage for your things.

The location is hard to beat: Easy Shopping: 15–20 mins walk to Woolworths, PAK’nSAVE, Fresh Choice, and heaps of Asian supermarkets and cafes.

Transport: The bus stop is right around the corner (1–2 mins walk) for routes 733 and 734. Plus, the ferry is nearby if you want a scenic, traffic-free ride into the city!

Fresh Air: We’re super close to Pigeon Mountain and nice coastal tracks if you’re into walking or just need a screen break.

You’ll be sharing with a small, easy-going family, just myself and my Year 10 son. I’ve worked in the international education and homestay industry for years, so I’m very used to hosting and making sure everyone feels welcome and supported at home.

We are looking for a female flatmate who is clean, tidy, and respectful. We’re a pretty quiet household, so it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a place that isn’t a “party house” but still feels warm and friendly.
