About the room
Modern, fully ensuite home in Greenlane, in a quiet no-exit street and very close to Ellerslie, Mt Wellington, Newmarket, Sylvia Park, and main transport routes.
The available room is a sunny private ensuite with great natural light, good airflow, a large wardrobe, and its own heat pump/air conditioning unit. The house is still very new, as we only moved in last July, so everything feels modern, clean, and well looked after.
The home is fully furnished, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, quality appliances, gas cooktop, washer and dryer, fast fibre internet, and a 58-inch Smart TV with streaming. There is plenty of street parking available.
A bed and mattress can be arranged if needed, or you are welcome to bring your own furniture. The furniture shown in photos helps show the room size and layout, but not all pictured furniture is included.
Location is one of the best parts. We are around 5 to 10 minutes’ walk to Ellerslie Train Station, close to bus routes, and only a couple of minutes from SH1 and SH20, so getting to the CBD, Newmarket, Onehunga, the airport corridor, South Auckland, Mt Wellington, or Sylvia Park is very easy.

About the roomies
We’re a clean, friendly, and social household of full-time working professionals. The current flatmates are Brazilian, Swiss, and Indonesian, and we all work typical 9 to 5 schedules across sales, insurance, and engineering.
The vibe in the house is social but respectful. It’s not a party house, but it’s also not one of those flats where no one talks to each other. We enjoy the occasional chat in the kitchen, sharing a meal now and then, or watching something together in the lounge, while still giving everyone their own space and respecting downtime.
We’re looking for someone who is tidy, considerate, easy-going, and house-trained, and who naturally helps keep shared spaces clean and presentable. Ideally, we want someone who wants to be part of a good home, not just occupy a room.
A full-time working professional with a similar lifestyle would likely be the best fit.
