The room is the main bedroom in a three-bedroom townhouse, featuring large windows (gets sun all day!), an ensuite, a balcony, and a large wardrobe. The townhouse’s location is ideal, central to many places in the city: it is 250 meters from the beautiful Hagley Park, 4 min via car or 14 min via bus from the University of Canterbury, 9 min via car or 17 min via bus from Ara Institute of Canterbury City Campus and super close to the local mall/shopping centre (Westfield Riccarton), restaurants and cafes. A bonus for the busy streets of Christchurch, the townhouse has an attached garage off the entryway, which is used for off-street parking and storing extra stuff. If public transport is more your style, there are multiple bus stops located nearby: two stops right outside the townhouse for the 130 bus, and many more available about a 4-minute walk away from the townhouse on Riccarton Road for the 3, 5, 80 and 130 buses.

The two people currently living at the property are two girls, aged 23 and 27. One girl (27) is studying physical design at Ara Institute of Canterbury, and the other one (23) is working full-time in hospitality. Because everyone in the house are busy people, the environment is pretty calm, quiet and respectful, but also incredibly friendly.
