About the roomies

Below are words from our former flatmate who is a dear friend and we are sad to see leave!!

“ Everyone is 21 to 23 years old, either working or currently at Uni studying. Very respectful, kind group of people. Social and always friendly.

Move-in date: From 20/06/2026

Rent: $199 per week (Excluding power, WIFI and gas for water)

I genuinely really recommend this flat- it’s clean, spacious, with a quite convenient walkable location for University. The flatmates are some of the sweetest people; very much a family atmosphere, sharing cooking, group chores on the weekends. They are all incredibly kind and considerate people.

Moving in here was one of the most incredible flatting experiences, I can say for myself. A perfect fit if you are kind, friendly and respectful, like they are!

Moving out as I have finished Uni, and now am working in Wellington. “

I found the site to be clear of scams which is very much appreciated since there's so much garbage out there on the web.

Roomies is my #1 go to whenever I want to list a room for rent because I always have a better experience with them than any of the other sites out there.
