Please note - I will not have a cat when I arrive in New Zealand. The profile photo is of my cat Jimmy C and my rooftop garden in China. I built this garden from scratch over the last three years. Presently, I am still in China, and exploring a move to Wellington after teaching in different schools for six years in China. A friend has invited me to teach in a Kindergarten in Northland in Wellington. I am Australian, from Brisbane, and have worked globally for many decades. I lived in Portland, Oregon, a gardeners paradise, for 25 years. I am a very serious gardener (vegetables, flowers, fruit), enjoy cooking, painting, making natural artworks, cycling and reading. I am quite happy with my own company and while I enjoy cooking and hosting a meal, I am not a party animal. I like the sound of nature, wind, birdsong and rain drops. I have never smoked anything in my life, not a single puff. This would be my first time living in New Zealand.
