Sara

Greetings! I am writing this letter as an introduction, to share some more personal information about us compared to a CV, to help you get us know better! We are a couple from Budapest, Hungary (Europe), and arriving to New Zealand to experience a real adventure in the world, for the first time together. Our main goal is to travel across New Zealand, and forget about our everyday lives in Hungary, while witnessing the beauty of Aotearoa! In our weekdays we mainly focus on our time spent together, we love going out in the city and finding new activities, like going to theatre, exhibitions, sport events, walking in the night, meeting up with our friends, so we try to stay active constantly. We also love to travel, twice or more in a year, but this project of seeing New Zealand is our biggest aim so far. In our workfield, we are honest, hard working people, who are eager to follow instructions and keep order in our workplaces, also capable to make decisions on our own. Sara is an office manager, she is responsible for the order of the whole office in the company, keeping everything in its right place on an everyday basis. She is a problem solver for the company, able to figure out and make things done on her own. She is also a skilled swimmer, and instructor, teaching young kids to take their first swimsteps. She is enthusiastic in both of her jobs, and shows a real love for what she is doing. She is a biochemical engineer, and therefore has a mindset of practical problemsolving. I (Ákos) am a chemical engineer, and I am working in this field for years now. I used to try out new and unexplored jobs in the past, like working for a restaurant as a delivery guy, and I used to be an organiser for a cleaing company for a year aswell. I also had to take up the broom and I realised that there is some special peace in cleaning, when some of my employees didn’t show up on their schedule. I also have experience working in a foreign country, as I had a job for a year in Italy, where I was left to myself to communicate and work together with Italians (who rarely speak English, and I didn’t have any Italian language skills). I also like to solve problems, and take up the practical/mechanical method of problem solving. We both love working and are fast learners in my opinion, frequently trying out new table games to play together, or with our friends. She often beats me, as she is incredibly fast in getting used to new rules and systems. I am little bit slower, and I like to analyze everything first to fully understand a process, and then make the most out of it. We are running our own household, and are able to withstand prolonged physical work, and are eager to try ourselves out in new fields of work. I hope my experience in the cleaning company will help me get used to the environment faster, and Sara will be able to accomodate herself to maintain order and tidiness around her workplace, just like she is doing now.
