I’m 60, single, currently unemployed, on jobseekers with a medical as I am waiting for an operation on my wrist. Previously worked in office management. I’m a very friendly person but I’m happy in my own space. I love gardening, I’m exceptionally clean and tidy and will always pay rent on time. I do have 2 little Bichon dogs 10 and 5, they are very clean, get groomed every 6 weeks, have no fleas as they take a monthly pill. The dogs are the reason why I’m struggling to find a room to rent as they are inside dogs and they don’t like cats. My current landlord sadly passed away 2 days before Christmas so the house is most likely going to be sold. My current arrangement was cheaper rent in exchange for gardening and cleaning of the house. Happy to do the same or not. I have adult children in Woodville and Palmerston North so happy to relocate pretty much anywhere down there. Sadly my children are unable to accommodate me because of my dogs.
