My name is Milly, and I’m writing to you about the role that you’re currently looking to fill. I can work immediately if you need, or the date you want. I am a 26-year-old girl with 3 years of reporter experience and customer service experience in Hong Kong. I am now in New Zealand with a working holiday visa which is going to expire in January next year. I am seeking an authentic country experience while I’m in New Zealand, which your open position looks like it will offer! Your part of the state looks beautiful, and I’d be excited to explore it. I am passionate about experiencing any work in my life and try my best to do it well.

With a bachelor’s degree in Chinese and History (Cultural Heritage Stream) from the City University of Hong Kong. I consider myself as a highly-focused and passionate person, and I hope I have a chance to take on new challenges in your company. I had internship experience in Tianjin Museum as well which has driven me to become a familiar worker in the tour guide field.

I worked in the famous attractions in Hong Kong - Ngong Ping 360 to provide cable car service and customer service officer as my part time job before, so I was adept in providing patrons with optimal customer service, while maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude to visitors around the world. I also worked in a call center for more than 3 years as my part time job, and I represented different brands to tackle various problems in this job. I can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese well based on my previous experiences.

The first full-time job I engaged in after I graduated was being a reporter in Headline Daily. In this job, I need to produce massive instant news with accurate fact-checking under pressure and tight deadlines. As a reporter for Hong Kong Economic Times Limited and online media Hong Kong 01 before, I contact government officials and politicians for writing local news comprehensively, especially focus on environmental issues. Therefore, I am familiar with and sensitive to ecological issues.

I was a radio show host at Enlighten Hong Kong (Community Involvement Broadcasting Scheme of Radio Television Hong Kong) from April 2017 to Oct 2017. I also finished my Internship in Commercial Radio Hong Kong in 2018 with tight information research and writing practice.
