Kia ora! I’m an American counsellor (fresh off the plane) currently in the interviewing process for a permanent role in Wellington. I’m a Teina/Provisional Member of NZAC (overseas pathway), have reliable income from my ongoing US private practice, and am looking for somewhere I can settle properly with my two cats Cheeto and Big Boii.

I’d love something month to month initially with the option to commit longer term once my employment is confirmed, which I expect within the next few weeks. Budget up to $600pw. Ideally near a bus route. Looking for a studio, one bedroom, minor dwelling or self-contained unit, but open to the right flatmate situation too.

About my cats: Cheeto and Big Boii are both indoor cats, well behaved, litter trained with no history of scratching or litter box issues, and they get along great with dogs. I have a perfect rental history, professional references available, and am happy to pay a pet bond.

I take great care of any space I’m in.
