Justine's room
About the room
St Heliers is just a 5-minute drive away, with plenty of great cafés, restaurants and beautiful beach walks nearby.
The house is fully furnished (except for your room). The room is light and sunny, with a built-in wardrobe overlooking the back garden, and comfortably fits a queen bed plus drawers. There’s a spacious lounge to relax in, plenty of storage, and a carport with off-street parking.
Getting into the CBD is easy, with a bus stop just a couple of minutes’ walk away and Glen Innes train station nearby.
I’m looking for someone in their 30s who works regular Monday–Friday hours and is clean, tidy and considerate. This is a quiet home that’s best suited to someone who enjoys coming home to relax and recharge after work. It’s not a party house or a highly social flat, but it’s a friendly, easy-going home where we respect each other’s space. The occasional friend or visitor is absolutely welcome, but it wouldn’t be the right fit for someone who regularly has people staying over or coming and going.
Working from home is absolutely fine for up to two days a week. I usually work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, so ideally your WFH days would be on different days where possible.
Included in the rent: Electricity Gas Water Unlimited internet
Shared household items (such as toilet paper and cleaning products) are additional and split evenly.
Sorry, no pets, couples, smoking or parties.
I’m looking for someone who takes pride in where they live – someone who cleans up after themselves, helps keep the shared spaces tidy, and wants a calm, respectful home to come back to.
About the roomies
I’m a working professional in my 30s and work in the CBD. During the week I’m fairly quiet and enjoy coming home to relax and unwind after work. I work from home two days a week (usually Thursday and Friday), so I’m looking for someone who’s happy to work from home on different days.
On weekends I’m usually catching up with friends, getting out and about, or having a quiet one at home. I’m friendly and always up for the occasional chat, but I also value my own space and privacy, so the house has a nice balance of being welcoming without everyone being in each other’s pockets.
