A sofa bed space is available in a warm, friendly home, just a 15-minute walk from the CBD. It’s a budget-friendly option for someone who doesn’t need their own private bedroom and is happy sharing a living and sleeping space.

The sofa bed is in the lounge, which is also my bedroom, so this is a shared space rather than a private room.

The house has plenty of character, natural light, sunny living areas, and decking overlooking the harbour and ocean. The university, supermarkets, and a scenic nature walk are all within easy walking distance.

You’ll have full use of the house, including the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and shared living areas. The kitchen is spacious and practical, and the bathroom is modern and well maintained.

Rent is $80 per week, all-inclusive, covering power, internet, and shared household essentials such as toilet paper, laundry powder, and dishwashing liquid.

We’re tidy, considerate, and fairly independent, but always happy to stop for a chat when we cross paths. Every now and then we might share a meal, do a bit of baking, or head out for a casual outing, but there’s no expectation to join in.

It’s a relaxed, easygoing household where everyone respects each other’s routines and contributes to keeping the shared spaces clean and comfortable.
