Maungaraki, Lower Hutt 5010

We are looking for a short term boarder - 3 month (with potential to extend). We have a 3.5 bedroom home we would like someone to share. We also have 2 cocker spaniels and a cat, with a litter of puppies from time to time, although they are not roaming the house.
The house is quiet, on a private road sitting perched above Belmont Regional park, with walking trail access right below the house. It is a beautiful spot with views over the regional park and all day sun (although that also comes with the wind!). There’s a bus stop at the end of the drive, Petone train station at the bottom of the hill, and just a quick drop straight down to the motorway.

I am a clinical psychologist and work at Wellington and Hutt Hospitals. I breed cocker spaniels and do a couple of litters a year. I love cooking, including sourdough. We lease some land for horses so a lot of my weekends are spent tending to the land. I am out a lot. I live with my 19 year old daughter, who is a Personal Trainer and Horse riding instructor. She very active, gym, walking and loves to go out into town and socialise. She is in and out on a varied schedule, often ships passing in the night. We are pretty relaxed and friendly, happy to chat or leave you to your own devices. Whatever goes.
