Furnished or unfurnished bedroom in sunny, warm, comfortable home, sharing with one other (F) and a friendly 8-yr-old cat. Long term or short term (minimum 2 months).

The room has a large built-in wardrobe and a large bathroom and separate toilet alongside it (I use a separate bathroom at the other end of the house).

The kitchen and living areas receive all-day sun and lead to a small patio with table and chairs and two small vege garden beds.

There is a third room that is shared: it’s my office during the day and entirely your space in the evenings and weekends if desired. It has a TV and a sofa.

The house is lovely to live in, sheltered from the wind, and backs on to the Tukuka Street entrance to walkways in the Grampians. It’s a 10-minute walk to the hospital and just over 5-minute drive to the CBD in one direction and Stoke in the other. Close to cycle ways. There is a garage with plenty of storage space for suitcases etc and space for a second bike.

I rent the house and the property manager will require a credit check and one week’s bond. Rent is paid two weeks in advance. Move-in date is flexible.

I’m looking for a friendly flatmate, 35+, with great communication skills, someone working full-time away from home, as I work from home.

When I’m at home evenings and weekends I’m usually reading or watching a film. Away from home I enjoy qigong, yoga, gigs and bush walks.
