Condell Avenue

We are looking for a flatmate who will join two of us to help Len, who owns the house, with a couple of things at specific times of day.

In return for this he offers free board including internet, SKY, Netflix, heat and light!

We each contribute $140 per week to consumables. This allows just about ANYTHING any individual wants

Len, who is pretty autonomous needs help to bed at night. This involves a bit of knowledge of using a hoist but the two existing flatmates – Brian and Tracey know it all!!

It is a shared job and we work it to suit each other’s routines.

Everything else is standard flatting stuff such as cooking, cleaning and washing. We work on clean enough to be safe, messy enough to be comfortable. Bedrooms are private areas and no rules!

The house is fully furnished but flatmates are free to use their own.

The daily routine for Len is as follows:

9am – Len’s personal carers (not flatmates) get him up, showered, dressed and breakfasted.

12pm - Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat Len goes out to play cards. Anyone willing may drive him there and back but this is not a requirement of the arrangement.

4.30 – 5pm Len returns home

6pm ish – Dinner

11pm – Bedtime

Gerard (me) has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and is progressively becoming a useless old bugger, thus the need for another flatmate. I have my own carers and am not part of the house arrangement. Just parked up in a corner binging on Netflix and You Tube! I have some minor support needs that can be met by a flatmate and I am happy to negotiate compensation for these, but they are not a requirement.

We are a light hearted and humorous household and bad habits only extend to 00% alcohol Heineken!

We are a non-smoking house but there is a nice patio/deck if smoking/vaping is essential!
