Hi there, I will have a queen bedroom for rent in Merivale. The landlord is a friend of mine, who is relocating and renting the house. With renovations taking place, this whare will NOT be available for veiwings just yet and the move in date will be around June (fingers crossed with no delays!). I’m jumping the gun and putting the feelers out there. Please note: the photos provided are courtsey of an agency at the time of sale last year. Other than the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, photos of the livingroom are not a ‘true’ representation of it’s current state or it’s finishings! ABOUT THE WHARE: Set back from the hustle and bustle of the main road, this cosy, furnished townhouse has one UNfurnished queen bedroom for rent. Privately positioned down a long driveway this tidy townhouse is currently undergoing upgrades which includes double-glazing, carpet, an updated kitchen and one shared bathroom. This lovely north facing two level townhouse has open plan kitchen, living and dining space that leads to the low maintenance paved courtyard. THE ROOM: The queen bedroom comes unfurnished but, the rest of the house is fully equipped with everything you need to make this place your haven of relaxation. THE IDEAL TENANT(S): Must be mature, professional, full-time worker(s). Prefer age from 35 years upward who are considerate, responsible, contributes to the household chores, tidies up after themselves in the kitchen and pays rent on time. Mature couples will be considered. No smokers, no vapers, no pets as there is one already here who dominates her territory! THE ESSENTIALS: Rent: $260 pw (single) $346.66 pw (couple) + bills Bond: 2+2 = $520 and 2 weeks in advance BEFORE move in date. Additional expenses are power, internet/wifi split monthly and household items dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, toilet cleaner etc. I’m not sure of the estimations just yet. I am a 50-year-old female, young-at-heart, no dramas, self-employed physical therapist. I’m a workaholic and lead a busy work life, split between working in the clinic and from home so I expect a quiet living environment. As I work with people everyday, I relish my quiet time and will respect yours. However, I do enjoy the occassional shared meal or dining out, movie nights with wine and snacks and a good ole yarn. I have a furbaby, she’s Siamese so talks ALOT and very independent.
