Ben's room

Hi there! I have a free room available from the 1st August, but feel free to start moving in the weekend just before! The room is huge, does not have any in built closet, and has a fire place, and can come with a queen bed if you want.

The house is located about a 5min drive into city centre, 3min to New world. It is very cozy, super sunny, and has a large garden in the back. There is 1 parking spot in the driveway that you’re more than welcomed to use as i always park on the street - there’s lots of street parking space.

There are lots of stairs that lead up to the main house, so it would suit someone who doesn’t mind that daily commute. Laundry room is located seperate from the main house in the basement/storage area. All but one bike in the photo will be gone in August.

The house comes with my doggo Lottie, who’s super lovely with people, but unfortunately not with other animals, so it is for the best that no other pets are allowed. There currently isn’t a heat pump but this should be installed in the next few months. Heads up it can get nippy but the house heats up incredibly fast as it’s small, and we have insulating curtains that help!

Rent is $300 excluding internet and power. Internet is $75/month and power was $55 last month for 3 people! This would probably suit a couple best, given the price, but if you’re a single occupant I’m happy to negotiate splitting the costs a little more evenly!

Gardens are done by the landlord!

I’m a 30 year old full time Biotechnician, who loves rock climbing, and trying to make music - heads up you might have to put up with quite abit of noise, never past 7pm though, promise!

I’m pretty chill, quite a homebody, can be social, but can also retreat into my room to recharge quite abit!

The ideal flatmate: Trust worthy, considerate, chill, open minded, tidy, pays bills on time, can withstand repetitive guitar playing.
