Large room available in double glazed, warm and sunny villa - furnished at no extra cost - for a flatmate/ boarder. Off street parking an option.

Keen for flatmates over summer so lower rate ($140 pw) from November to January inclusive.We are just 5 min bike ride from Port Hills, and 10 mins bike ride to South City mall. Good vegetable garden.

We are a family with 2 parents (doctor/ self-employed) and a 14 year old at home along with border collie Tussock. Come and meet us - see if you like the vibe. We are open to reducing the rent further if you can walk Tussock the dog daily through December.

The room is extra large - with double-glazed windows facing South East. It is fully furnished with a double bed currently. We can move things out that aren’t wanted. It is pleasant, light, lots of wooden walls/ shelving. Large wooden wardrobe also available.

Keen for a boarder/ flatmate who is working and out during the day most of the time. Also glad for someone into intentional community and up to share some meals perhaps and also to do their own thing. Extra welcome if you are Hindi or Spanish speaking (like us) or you like music, tramping or mountain biking. The room is available from now (2 November onwards). We would be happy to share cooking and some/ all meals (vegetarian preferred)…. Couple or single person possible.

On top of the proposed cost - utilities would be

1. splitting electricity four ways - works out about $30 per month in summer
2. Broadband - $22 per month - high speed

NB If a couple / two people staying we would ask a little more e.g. $160-180 per week.

Two of us are professionals- K is a medical public health doctor and university lecturer. She enjoys playing piano, ukulele, singing - and also riding a bicycle everywhere. J works from home as a contractor in evaluation and commiunity development. He enjoys going up and down hills on a bicycle, chess and hunting. Then there is 14 year old skateboarding and drama person and Tussock the border collie
