About the flat
beautiful renovated Villa from 1930 on the slopes of Mt Pleasant with amazing sea -and Southern Alps views. Supermarkets, cafes and shops just 3 minutes drive down the hill, about 8 minutes to Sumner.
On offer is the loft room (20qm), spacious, separate from the other bedrooms, with a lot of wardrobe space and an ensuite bathroom. The room can be rented out furnished or unfurnished.
Our house has full kitchen facilities, a nice warm lounge with a fire and a heat pump, great storage space which you are welcome to use, and a garage space for you. We have a wonderful garden with fruit trees, lemons and more, and while we would ask you to water some of the plants should it get very dry, you would be very welcome to help yourself to anything that you find growing.
Our house is cat and small dog friendly.
We are looking for someone responsible, either working or studying who will enjoy our house but also respect our space. Rent: we would be looking at $485 per week, plus power and two weeks deposit. The room is available immediately.
About the roomies
We are a couple ( end 50’s), the owners of the house, both musicians, easy going and relaxed. For the foreseeable future we will be spending the majority of our time abroad, we will be using our part of the house for a one week to 10 days per month.
