We have a sunny west facing room (gets loads of afternoon/evening sun) available in a centrally located recently renovated 1910’s Pito-one (Petone) bungalow. Walking distance to shops, pubs, beach, supermarket, restaurants, rec grounds, various sports clubs and regional parks. Bus stop 2min away and Railway station a 15min walk. A 15-20min drive/bus/train ride to Wellington City 10min drive/bus to Lower Hutt City.

The room is fully carpeted with new thick curtains and a lovely 10ft stud ceiling. We can rent it fully furnished, part furnished or empty. Looking for a chilled flatmate/s who are keen on a home haven and are happy to chip in with chores and (bonus points) maybe keen on some shared cooking.

House has washing machine/dryer and a dishwasher. Sunny backyard with a outdoor bath, BBQ, vegie/herb gardens and vegie seedling nursery. Plenty of on-street parking and some off street parking too.

Rent negotiable ;) but thinking $250 base rate for a single person.

About us- We are a couple 41yrs and 51yrs.

Simon works as a art school caretaker and Ange in community development and hospitality. We enjoy delicious food, growing things, creative arty stuff, Simon loves heading with his longboard looking for surf, and Ange regularly geeks over records (did we mention there’s a record collection!!)
