About the room
We are currently looking for someone to share our slice of paradise. We sleep-out for rent that comes with a queen bed, set of drawers and a very large desk (if you want it). French doors open onto shared deck looking out to water views and a lush vegetable garden. The estuary is a few metres away for kayaking or collecting kiamoana and the swimming beach is 10 minutes walk away from your front door. Its a 25 minute drive to Nelson. At Cable Bay, there is mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, cafe, river and beach swimming, diving, snorkelling and walking. We share the kitchen and bathroom and your toilet is a presentable outside composting toilet. There is also a wash-up basin for your use in the garage. Ideally you will be tidy, an open and easy communicator, enjoy some social contact but maintain your own space, active and healthy. Rent covers everything including some weekly cleaning. There is limited storage outside your sleep-out. We sometimes have helpers on cultural exchange and our grandchild is here occasionally. References are essential and we are happy to give you the phone number of our previous housemate. No pets or smokers. Room has a bed and desk, lounge chair, and a shelf. We have just been told that our road will be closed between 9 and 12 and 1 and 3 weekdays until June.
