You’ll have the upper floor to yourself. Room is light, bright, and tastefully furnished with a double bed and a small desk. There is a large walk-in wardrobe plus an additional closet with some storage space. The room includes a smart TV and Wi-Fi access. The private ensuite bathroom has a shower, but no tub. You could use the tub downstairs as desired. Lower floor has shared lounge, kitchen, and laundry, plus large fenced patio area with flowering trees and bench seating. Since the home is set back from the street, it’s quiet. CBD, parks, and restaurants are all walking distance from the home, and bus access is convenient. It’s a one way street, and there’s plenty of street parking available. Off street parking will hopefully be an option for you once the garage is cleared out, leaving space beside the garage for your vehicle.

I’m 57 and live here by myself, no pets. My kids are grown and have their own lives. I teach at the University of Canterbury full-time, but I sometimes work from home to get blocks of productive time. When I visit with friends, it’s usually away from home. I’m tidy and quiet in my habits, so the house is clean and comfortable to be in. But, I’m sociable and like to talk, too, if you do!
